A long standing member of the Furnishing Industry Assocation of Australia and represented on the Sustainable Timber Industry Coalition, Black Forest Timbers is actively involved in most aspects of the Victorian Timber industry.

Black Forest Timbers, over the last decade, has repositioned itself into higher value product markets. The company recognises that properties such as strength, durability, appearance and hardness give Victorian Ash timber natural competitive advantages. Increasing kiln dried timber volumes for appearance grade applications has required:

• Substantial investment in production facilities and capacity
• Development of a larger and more skilled workforce
• Development of new markets both domestic and export
